Chris Rock returns to the Oscars – RTP

This will be the second time the comedian ahead of the delivery performance of the most coveted film awards.

 

 The multifaceted Chris Rock will host the Oscars in 2016, announced Wednesday the producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin.

Rock, comedian, actor, producer and director, repeated the conduct of Gala of Awards American Academy film after his debut in 2005. He succeeds Neil Patrick Harris (2015) and Ellen DeGeneres (2014).

After getting the stand up comedy circuit was part of the cast of the television show “Saturday Night Live” from 1990 to 1993. He entered films as “Lethal Weapon” or “2 Days in New York “. Most recently produced the sitcom “Everybody Hates Chris” and held the special “Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo” for HBO.

The 88th ceremony of the Oscars will take place on Sunday, February 28, at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood with transmission direct to more than 225 countries.
