The piece will be brought to the scene almost full version, realizing an old dream of director Luis Miguel Cintra, as he confessed himself, at the press conference of presentation of this edition of the event.
Another of the particularities of this staging of Shakespeare’s play to be presented in Almada, is that the main character, contrary to what normally happens in different scenarios, to be played by a young actor just to form.
“Hamlet”, by Luis Miguel Cintra, is represented again on Tuesday, on the same stage within the festival.
“Write, speak,” Jacinto Lucas Pires, Jorge Silva a staging for Theatre of Aloe is another debut today at the 32nd edition of the Almada Festival. The piece will go up on stage at the Theatre-Studio António Assumption in Almada.
In the context of parallel initiatives, the second day of the festival program also includes a Gypsy music show to be held on the terrace of the School António da Costa, in Almada.
Teatro Municipal Joaquim Benite, remains the allusive exhibition at ten of the room, which was named the first director of the Almada Theatre Company and Festival.
