Hackers declare fake “death” of Britney Spears News Journal

Luís Alves Vicente

The group of hackers to Our Mine went on the Twitter account of Sony to advertise the fake “death” of Britney Spears. The “tweets” were, however, erased.

The Twitter account of Sony, more specifically the section of the multinational responsible for the promotion of music, has published a message giving, in a false, singer Britney Spears as one dead. The “tweets”, though deleted, will have been written by hackers of the group Our Mine.

“RIP @britneyspears. RIP Britney 1981-2016″ (“Rest in peace, Britney”) was the first published message on Twitter. Seven minutes later the same authors wrote that “Britney is dead by accident. We will give more information soon.” The hackers have also come to the account of Bob Dylan, by posting the same message: “Rest in peace, Britney.”

The “tweets” were a little time online, with the Sony to declare quickly that someone had come into the Twitter account of the organization: “we have Seen that a new [address] IP entered in account a few minutes ago and the ‘tweet’ was published from that IP. Therefore, Britney Spears is still alive.”

it is Not the first time that Sony suffers cyber attacks. In 2014, it was disclosed confidential information of the company’s employees and their families. Multiple copies of films, and company information were also revealed.
