Weekend in Lisbon with Bowie – Vision

a year Ago, on the 8th of January – date of their anniversary – cast Blackstar. Two days later, we were waking up to the news of his death. David Bowie, the 69-year-old, longer name of the culture pop/rock, kept in the intimacy of the cancer in the liver that consumed her and made her farewell in a song (and a video), that no one knew how to read and see. Lazarus was after all a goodbye of a man who knew that he was going to die.

In the following days, much has been written in the newspapers and on the internet, organized concerts and festivals, by the world and by here. In Lisbon, the Rotterdam Club was among the first to announce a night of tribute – which was followed, two days later, a matinée Sunday memorable at Lux Frágil. Now, and to mark the anniversary of David Bowie – would have been 70 years old on the day 8, the bar-nightclub in Cais do Sodré is the new party this Saturday, 7, from of 22 and 30. Not if it requires dress code to the input, but the more daring may well appear dressed Ziggy Stardust or Major Tom, two of the many characters that the musician has built throughout his career.

"chameleon" was the easiest of the adjectives used in the obituaries, David Bowie was much more than someone who "changed". The Cha-Cha changes as he so aptly sang in times. The words are all of Nuno Galopim, written in the text about the death of the british artist, published in the online journal typewriter. The journalist, radio broadcaster and music critic leads the conversation scheduled for this Sunday, 8, in the Belém Cultural Centre, from 17 hours, and that counts with the participation of film critic João Lopes, the singer Xana (Radio Macau) and the editor-in album David Ferreira. The session, which celebrates the memories and musical legacy of Bowie, will include even versions of the themes presented live by David Fonseca and the projection of excerpts from movies in which Bowie took part.
