Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have agreed to seal all court documents relating to your divorce to protect their six children, announced this Monday in a joint statement, the first since confirmed the divorce by "differences irreconcilable".
"The two parties in question and their lawyers have signed agreements to preserve the rights of privacy of their children and family", they write in the statement quoted by the Associated Press, and the process of divorce will now be handled with a "judge the particular" who will be responsible for "taking all the legal decisions necessary and to facilitate the rapid resolution of any outstanding issues".
The divorce Jolie and Pitt, the last couple-Hollywood star, has been one of the most newsworthy in recent years. Under discussion is the custody of six children: in the first instance, Angelina Jolie asked for the custody total children and Pitt challenged it, fighting for shared custody.
Although in November a representative of the actress has confirmed that the former couple had already reached a voluntary agreement, encouraged by experts in child education, under which the custody of the six children stayed with Jolie and Pitt would have the right to "guided therapeutics", the couple continued in divergence – a month later, in December, the actor accused the ex-wife to expose the private lives of their children. In a motion to be handed to a judge, Pitt and their representatives claimed that the disclosure of details about children, between the ages of eight and 15 years, was blocked, and was scheduled for a hearing to January 17.
"The parents are committed to act as a united front to make the recovery and unification," say now in the same statement.
