This Saturday, January 28, the Deolinda give a concert in the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon. On the following Saturday, 4 February, play in the Coliseum of Oporto. It is not the first time that the quartet passes through the main rooms of the two cities but this is the official celebration of a decade of music. They gave the first concert in 2006, they recorded the first theme, "Told No one Believes" in the following year, and in 2008 they released "Song to the Side", the first album. After that it was join songs, concerts and fans.
With special dates come special concerts. These two Coliseus will, for this, the best known subjects of the group in alignment but also have room for surprises, including themes from the first trials of Deolinda. Said Luís José Martins a few days ago: "In the concert hall that we were building was not to have all of the songs. Many of the songs with the most intimate were getting side, because the concerts have always been gaining a dynamic that is very strong, especially in the open air. We decided to go get a few songs of this and build this concert with this character more intimate," said the guitarist Luís José Martins.
Before the concert in Lisbon, we asked the four musicians to choose photos little (or nothing) seen by the fans and that ilustrassem ten years of career. Here they are (and in the gallery above), with the respective comments:
"Deolinda and a van, backline, somewhere in the United States, during our second tour american. We did a lot of miles on this van (even with the right approach of the police to the action movie)":

"Picture of the first video of Deolinda, directed by Gonçalo Tocha (who held the other 3 music videos of the band). Had as scenario the Damaia, where many times the band rehearsing. The song was the 'Fado Toninho' and tells the story of a rufia, Toninho, inspired by a real character of the street, Peter and Louis, in Damaia. Without knowing the 'inspiration' Toninho appeared during the shooting, heard the song and greeted the musicians, in their style, gingão and spitting to the side. I never knew of the tribute":
"The first of many concerts of the Deolinda out of doors, in Leuven, Belgium. We did the first part of the Teresa Salgueiro and went up to the stage, visibly nervous. Gradually, the songs iam returning confidence and the audience reacting. At the end of the concert there was no distinction between a concert in Portugal or in Belgium. We celebrate the event to the streets of Leuven and the party ended very late (or early, depending on perspective)":
24 June 2006, the Website of the Cephalopod, in the Neighborhood of Sé, in Lisbon. "Photo taken in our first concert (by Ricardo Antunes). The room was small but very cozy and intimate, was packed with friends and family. We were anxious and expectant by the reactions to the songs for large part of the audience were a novelty. The concert was very special and unforgettable":
June 2015 São Tomé. "Photo (Angelo Lorenzo) taken on a rest day during a tour of the island. The arrival in Sao Tome was full of mishaps, an important part of our material came not in-flight (bass, clothes, etc.). The concert had to be done with electric bass, since there was no double bass on the Island and with clothes borrowed by the staff of the embassy.
