The actor of 44 years made a large part of his career in the theater

The Portuguese actor Jacinto Durães, who has worked in theatre companies such as Seiva Trupe and Teatro Experimental do Porto, died on Monday at age 44, said to the Lusa agency source close to the family.

Referring to only that “he was the victim of the disease”, the same source said that the wake is done from 15:30 today in the Church of Lapa (Porto), and that the funeral will take place on Wednesday, at the end of the day, in the cemetery of the Lapa, in the same city.

Born in Porto in 1972, Jacinto Durães studied at the Escola Superior de musica e Artes do Espectáculo (Porto) and at the Dartington College of Arts in the United Kingdom.

In the film participated in three short films by Andre Delhaye, but it was in the theater that Jacinto Durães worked, as he noted the same source, with companies such as Theatre Plastic, Experimental Theatre of Oporto, the University Theatre of Porto, Seiva Trupe Theatre, Art Image, and Foot of Wind.
