Died Claudio Panta Nunes, group Crows – TVI24

The musician Claudio Panta Nunes, cellist of the Crows, died on Sunday in Lisbon, at the age of 32, in consequence of a cancer.

The cellist was part of the Ravens for over a decade, but in recent months he was away from the stage for health reasons.

Natural de Sintra, the musician, he studied trumpet in the Society, Play and Musical of Almoçageme and continued his studies at the Conservatoire National, where he has moved to the cello, and at the Superior School of Music of Lisbon.

Before the Crows, Claudio Panta Nunes made a part of the Band of the Army.

according to the same source of the enterprise agency, the Ravens will keep the concerts already scheduled, including the February 04, at the Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, in Sintra.

The Crows emerged in 1998 and were currently Pedro Teixeira Silva (violin), Tiago Flores (violin), Luis Santos (viola d’arco), Cláudio Nunes (cello), Pedro Silva (drums) and Nuno Correia (bass).
