Cancer kills Cláudio Nunes at the age of 32 – the Morning Mail

“Claudius knew that he was sick a few months ago and although we all had hope that he recover, we also knew that the situation was serious,” says Nuno Silva about the death, at the age of 32, Claudio Panta Nunes, cellist of the band of The Crows. The musician, who was part of the group more than a decade ago, she had cancer and was already away from the stage. “We had to replace it with another cellist in the concert hall because playing it has become you painful”, account colleague Nuno Silva.

The Crows, which were founded in 1998 but already met several formations, shall keep the concerts already scheduled – and in particular, 4 February, marked to the Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, in Sintra. The group has several albums that were released, among which 'Crows Visit Xutos' and 'Post Scriptum'.
