The Cascais municipality pioneered the concept of the Museum Quarter, a multi-cultural provision of local counting with 12 different equipment.

At the same route are met paintings by Paula Rego, a strong eighteenth or know and a renowned musicological estate. The House of Stories Paula Rego, the Museum of Santa Marta, the Music Museum, the Sea Museum, the Nossa Senhora da Luz, the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum and the Cascais Cultural Centre to which are attached the Parque Marechal Carmona and the Palmela Park are the cultural offer.

The idea came from other europeiras cities like Amsterdam example, bringing together in the same space a varied cultural offer. This initiative will still be associated with a common theme that will be addressed differently by each device.

A single ticket that allows access to all spaces may be acquired. Cascais celebrated this year 650 years of lifting the village. The president of the council stressed the strategic importance of the project for the promotion of spaces and tourist point of view.
