The Brazilian actor Claudio Marzo died Sunday at age 74, reported the online edition of the newspaper “Globe”. Was admitted to a clinic in Rio Janeiro since the beginning of March, due to pneumonia.
Born on September 26, 1949, Claudio Marzo was the son of a family of workers and of Italian descent. Left school at 17 to work as an extra on TV Paulista. He was later hired by TV Tupi, having worked in production on Chopin. At 25, then part of the Theatre Workshop, was invited to work in TV Globo, integrating the first group of actors hired by the channel, responsible for transmitting, in Portugal, in novels like “Japan Kananga” (1989) and ” wetland “(1990).
“I always wanted to be an actor, I found a fantastic thing. The actors thrilled me. I thought interesting convey emotions and world awareness to people. Claudio Marzo leaves three children from three previous marriages. At Present. was married to Neia Marzo.
