Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil are the artists invited to the closing of the 12th edition of the festival edpcooljazz, on 31 July, on the stage of Poets Park / Municipal Stadium in Oeiras, Lisbon. An exclusive concert, which celebrates 50 years of career, Brazilian musicians will act together, bringing the festival as a directory where they are compressed the greatest hits of the careers of the titans of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB).

The two musicians, cited as “compelling references MPB,” have as a major milestone in their careers the famous “Tropicália cultural movement of the turbulent 60s.” Both were exiled to England because of the censorship of the military regime.
