Students have to be combined to school gate at the time of start of classes (08:20) being scheduled for 12:00 a concentration in the place where the entire population is invited to demand the intervention necessary to the security of students and teachers in a building with problems of degradation for several years.

“By 24:30 we make a human chain to give a hug to the conservatory,” said Lusa Professor Bruno Cochat.

According to the source, the protesters will be directed, by 14:00, the Assembly of the Republic, where the commission set up on Tuesday, at school, will be received by the PCP, BE and PEV.

To the Minister of Education, Nuno Crato, followed by a letter asking to be received by himself, in order to solve the problems.

For the next week (03 to March 4) is already marked a vigil: “Let’s keep the school open for those who want to come spend the night with us.”

The Music School of the National Conservatory today was padlocked by the students, who want to see addressed security issues in the building.

A survey of the Municipality of Lisbon forced the building, on Monday, for security reasons, the closure of ten rooms, which made the students ran out of some classes.

The school was reopened by two elements of the Public Security Police, by 09:45, under strong protest from students, who closed the doors padlocked overnight.

Representatives of parents, students and the general council of the school decided on Tuesday, form a committee that aims “to get reach the talks” to the Government, for the works required in the building.

The parliamentary majority chumbou on Tuesday a Left Bloc’s request to hear the Minister of Education on the closure of several rooms at the National Conservatory for lack of security, claiming yet announced an intervention.

However, the BE maintains that it is necessary Nuno Crato go to parliament to explain how it will proceed if the intervention, how long and how classes will be ensured.
