A film about the film industry and the maelstrom of the careers of actors, divided between the blockbusters and the copyright drive, won the Oscar for Best Picture at the 87th ceremony of the Academy. Four Oscar for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) , and tied with Grand Hotel Budapest in the edition of 2015.


                     


                          Birdman , a dip in a career whose similarities with Michael Keaton will not be mere coincidence – he was Batman and Birdman – ended this edition of the Academy Awards with four awards: best film, director, photography and original argument. Reconfirmed to the prescient power of Guilds of Producers and Directors, who had already given their top honors at Birdman and Iñárritu. Are now eight consecutive years in the union of producers anticipates the winning film at the Oscars.

Birdman and Grand Hotel Budapest began the journey towards the Oscars on an equal footing, both more nominees and nine applications for each figurine, and end also tied with the same quartet premiums.

Of the ten possible nominations, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences elected only eight candidates movies the most desired statuette of the season. They hit by the Oscar for Best Picture Boyhood , that is only one prize – for Patricia Arquette – In Limits – which saw the winning JK Simmons and actor won the award best sound mixing -, The Theory of Everything – which received the award for Best Actor for Eddie Redmayne – Grand Hotel Budapest , Wes Anderson – who tied the accounts with Birdman with four awards already expected in the technical categories (set design, characterization, wardrobe and original soundtrack) -, The Imitation Game – who got the Oscar for Argument Adapted – Selma – who won the Best Song – and American Sniper – Best Sound Editing and Foxcatcher which went blank.
