Died Leonard Nimoy, who was “Mr. Spock” – RTP


 

 

died on Friday the American actor Leonard Nimoy who gave life to the character of Mr. Spock science fiction.

Nimoy, son of Dora (Spinner) and Max Nimoy was born in Boston, Massachusetts.

The son of a family with Jewish and Ukrainian roots, Leonard Nimoy was created with simple principles.

The first steps of the actor gave up around eight years acting in local community theater, having just stepped on the stage of Hollywood at age 20, representing in two parts in 1951.

After two years in the US Army, Nimoy played small parts, many of them without the right to claims.

In 1952, wearing the first paper extraterrestrial, of Narab name, Nimoy stages a friendly Martian in final scene of a series of zumbies, almost anticipating the role that would make the official Leonard Science half-human / half-Vulcan, Mr. Spock in the Star Trek series in (1966).

Performance this series was later adapted into several films earned him three nominations for Emmy’se launched his career as a writer and director, including Star Trek IV:. Return to Earth (1986)

Beyond Science fiction, Leonard Nimoy also participated in other productions as “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Oliver,” “Camelot” and “Equus” and in two episodes of The Simpsons (1989).

Nimoy . is also the author of several volumes of poetry

The last major motion picture in which embodied the character Mr. Spock was in the movie Star Trek:. Into Darkness 2013

The actor died at his home in Los Angeles, a victim of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diagnosis publicly revealed in 2014.
