Many friends and relatives of Emidio Rangel despedidarm is the former director of SIC, on Friday (15).
After the vigil and Mass at the Basilica da Estrela, the body of Emidio Rangel followed to the cemetery of the groves, where he was cremated.
Emidio Rangel died on Wednesday, August 13, age 66, a victim of bladder cancer.
The former director of the SIC and RTP was already a few days ago terminally ill in the Intensive Care Unit, where he was transferred after spending some admitted to the Hospital of Santa Maria weeks.
It was even Emidio Rangel that in last April, confirmed that he was fighting back against bladder cancer, a disease that had made it past ten years.
