3rd day of Paredes de Coura

The duo Buke & amp; Gase were the protagonists of the Vodafone Music Sessions, this time on a football field abandoned a few kilometers from Paredes de Coura. Builders of their own instruments, make a good pop tone and flavor to an indelible hot summer, as the day and time that is presented. The recall by lucky gifts, no doubt.

Shortly after, on the banks of Taboão, the Bent showed up on stage at Jazz Grass. With much assistance, but festival-goers were there more for the beach than by sound, tore still much applause. Their accomplices improvisations formed a whole that is perceived well synchrony between the three members of the band, so that it is unclear exactly who starts or ends, who leads or who follows. The band, that is to follow.

The Killimanjaro Barcelos opened yesterday the main stage with his voice hoarse stoner rock riffs and furious. Albeit with the assistance still coming, fruit of good weather and great beach that is on the banks of TABOAO, managed good response from those who attended, with some occasional mosh sessions, to give notice that it is electricity that people like.

Onstage Vodafone.FM, shortly after, the new Buke & amp; Gase to give his enigmatic sound to an audience who sinned by sparse, but no less interested. The instruments the duo returned to call attention, and the sound you can remove them without the use of electronics, absolutely amazing. A sugary pop, but of undeniable beauty, it has everything you need for work. And results

Linda Martini, Linda Martini, Linda Martini! But that big concert of the Portuguese, who came to Paredes de Coura show (as if it were still necessary) that takes place at a later time poster. Started something apathetic, from the public, but the band was not intimidated and drummer showed what was in his soul, asking for more delivery to festival-goers. And from there was to see if you Avias with mosh, crowdsurf and what else there was to celebrate the ripped rock of weekenders. Finalize with “100 meters Mermaid”, about two dozens of festival-goers on stage, and all the guys in the band over the audience. Large

Yuck entered the secondary stage to show their indie rock homesick 90s and festival-goers responded with loud applause to their songs. The space not filled, thanks largely dinner time, but still felt much love for the American rock band riffs. Less successful, the songs of his latest album, already without the founder Daniel Blumberg, are not as celebrated, in the face of his most intimate and experimental sound. Still, good concert.

There was onstage Vodafone Conor Oberst who, with their blend of pop, folk and rock, ripped enough applause to the crowd. This was increasing as the concert progressed, ending with the amphitheater almost full. No dazzle, was growing in confidence and the enthusiasm of the audience responded. Provision of a good American, but without dazzle.

The Perfect Pussy unloaded energy and anger to a secondary stage which was never filled, but gave himself completely to the hardcore New Yorkers. The vocalist screams more than sings, lyrics of violence and simultaneous poetry, transformed into sound barrages of high caliber. The audience responded in the best way, and were soon seen legs over the heads of assistance. Unfortunately, the sound was not in the best position to properly appraise the performance of the Americans.

The Punk Rock Black Lips was the next course in the main menu of Paredes de Coura. Torn was also affected with sound problems, with saxophone being completely muffled and the voice of Cole Alexander getting sometimes imperceptible, although this is not totally oblivious some “euphoria” of it. However, the public would be more euphoric, since again, the moshing, crowdsurfing and palms were a constant in concert. Helping the party, and something now customary in band concerts, a rain of paper rolls and inflated condoms coming of the toughest stage ignited, making acting a hit among the masses.

followed the Cut / Copy, the heads of the night poster, and who expected a good performance in the face of accolades from the trade press. But the truth is that the trio could never fully grasp the audience, which responded only spaces to the most danceable themes of Australians, getting up by a shake of the head in the more rock / pop. A bit lost in the alignment, which swung between the various styles of the band without a very definite thread. Was, in our view, almost a concert:. Almost rock, almost pop, electro almost, almost hard, almost good

And there was still time for some Cheatahs Vodafone.FM on stage to show us his indie rock eared, with everything in the right place to make the delights of tough. Good songs with a good dose of guitars and some distortion, animating the staff was certainly pleased with the performance of Londoners.

In what was perhaps less successful day so far, the very variety of styles poster, still lots of people and lots of partying along the river Taboao. Today, on the last day, we will see if the festival ends as usual in apotheosis. We hope so!
