Died Claudio Panta Nunes, cellist of the Ravens, Moves News

Suffering from cancer for some months, which is why he was away from the stage, and turned out to not to resist the disease. Claudio Panta Nunes, cellist of the Portuguese band the Crows, died on Sunday, 1 January, in Lisbon. Was 32 years old.

The funeral will be held today, Monday, in Almoçageme (Sintra) from 16: 30 at the Cine Teatro José Gomes da Silva, the facilities of the SRMA. The funeral will be held tomorrow, January 3, from 15: 30, also informed the group.

Claudio Panta Nunes was part of the Ravens for nine years.

Natural de Sintra, the musician, he studied trumpet in the Society, Play and Musical of Almoçageme and continued his studies at the Conservatoire National, where he has moved to the cello, and at the Superior School of Music of Lisbon.

The Crows emerged in 1998 and were currently Pedro Teixeira Silva (violin), Tiago Flores (violin), Luis Santos (viola d’arco), Cláudio Nunes (cello), Pedro Silva (drums) and Nuno Correia (bass).
