Billie Joe Armstrong does not charge for singing at the wedding of Mark Zuckerberg – the Daily Digital

In 2012, Billie Joe Armstrong was the musical guest of the wedding of Mark Zuckerberg.

In an interview with the program American TV the leader of the Green Day revealed not to have charged a dollar and recalled the moment. “He is a big fan of Green Day, almost nerd“, she said.

Armstrong remembered still the choice of “Last Night On Earth”. “Mark wanted me to play this song… I wrote it for my wife 18 years ago”.

The musician also praised the modesty of the boss of Facebook, noting that “nothing in it made it seem that it is someone with lots of money”.
