Band accuses Bruno Mars of plagiarism – the Journal News

singer Bruno Mars and producer Mark Ronson are accused of plagiarism by Collage, a band of years 80 of century XX, because of the success of “Uptown Funk”.

the case concerns The accusation of plagiarism of the band funk to the american singer because of the song “Uptown Funk”, which according to the Collage was copied from his “Young Girls”, released in 1983.

The group argues that the two artists involved in the music were aware of the original music, as admitted in interviews to having been influenced by funk artists of the 80′s.

The Collage accuse Ronson and Bruno Mars plagiarem: “the riffs guitar consistent”, “the sequence and rhythmic structure” and the “growing up metal and synthesizers”.

The group of Minneapolis, minnesota, USA, has sent a statement to the magazine of american music “Pitchfork”, with the exhibition of the arguments that have led it to put Bruno Mars in court, after the news have been leaked by the website “TMZ”.
