SBSR today announced the new names for the edition of 2016. on July 14, the festival features DJ Shadow and Estereo Bomba alignment and DJ Ride the next day.

The American Dj Shadow is a true icon. An expert in turntablism is a musician, DJ and producer ingenious and inventive – some even say who was responsible for the trip hop genre creation. Since college days that with their mixtures on the radio of the Californian University who attended Shadow demonstrated mastery and enormous creativity. The debut came in 1996 with “Endtroducing,” a disc exclusively composed of samples, a fact that led him to enter the Guinness Book Of Records. Six years after the release of debut album, Shadow released second record, called “The Private Press.” In 2006 came “The Outsider”. The producer of Caldas da Rainha has an enviable track record, having had the honor of opening the stage for such important names as Q-bert or Dâm-Funk. Between editions and performances, DJ Ride is an artist of all trades, unfolding simultaneously in numerous projects. After the release of “Psychedelic Sound Waves” album, “Turntable Food” and “Life in Loops”, launched last year its fourth LP, “From Scratch”, a collaborative recording with names like MGDRV, Capicua, HMB, Dengaz, Zacky Man or Stereossauro – who form the duo Beatbombers.
