Military GNR injured by man with spear fishing gun – TVI24

GNR [Lusa] A military of the GNR was this Sunday injured after being hit by a spear from a spear fishing gun fired by a man who was arrested in Sines, said the agency Lusa corporate source.

The source said the attack occurred around 14:00 after the military GNR were called to a restaurant in Sines, because of disrespect and where was the aggressor, 55, causing customers and display an underwater fishing gun, which he had in his possession.

When they reached the restaurant, the attacker threatened the military of the GNR and fled on foot, but they followed him and when approached fired the harpoon underwater fishing weapon against one of them, hitting her hand .

Military, 24, suffered minor injuries in one hand and was transported to the Hospital of the Alentejo Coast, in Santiago do Cacém, to remove the harpoon.

The abuser will be present on Monday at the Judicial Court of Santiago do Cacém for the first judicial interrogation and possible application of enforcement measures.
