Delfina Cruz , who arrived more recently the home of the Portuguese through their work in Strawberries with Sugar and Remedy Holy , passed away last Tuesday, a victim of breast cancer.
The Portuguese actress of 69 years have fought the disease for several months, having left for Paris in order to receive treatment. It was in the French capital that would eventually died earlier this week.
Delfina Cruz has become one of the entertainment world faces more recognized by the Portuguese public, starting career in the late 1960 in Mayer and leaving later to projects in film and television, where he became a constant presence.
He has participated in several soap operas and national productions such as All World Time , The Shop Camilo , Water Eyes Inspector Max and Floribella . The return to another television project was expected to last year, when Delfina would return to fiction in the novel TVI Women . Had to give up after being the victim of a road accident.
The funeral of the actress is scheduled for next September 15 in the Basilica da Estrela in Lisbon.
