Branko explains end cycle of Buraka Som Sistema: “It was necessary to stop and breathe again ‘- Digital Journal

In an interview with public the purpose of the debut album ‘Atlas’, Branko explained the reasons for the order cycle announced by Buraka Som Sistema in August.

“At this point we need objectivity to realize that the best way to convey what we want is through a group because of late – and I speak for myself – there was a feeling that we were walking on the running train with concerts around the world, without ever realizing it what there were doing. It was necessary to stop and breathe again, ‘says the producer and founder of the collective.

Branko adds that “the break is indefinite because only worthwhile return if there are new ideas with validity” that continues, “are not present in our spirit” at this time. “But a year from now no one knows what might happen”, concludes.

Early next year, the band will make a tour of closing the ten-year life cycle. ‘Atlas’, the debut Branko in his own name after the mixtape “Drums Slums Hums’ can be heard in full here.
