Jenner beats Obama in number of Twitter followers – EXAME.com


 Washington – The American television star and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce) opened on Monday its new account in the Twitter after changing sex and reached 1 million followers in 4 hours , a record that surpasses established by the President of the United States, Barack Obama .

 


 The Jenner account took exactly four hours and three minutes to reach a million followers, according to Guinness Book of Records, with which overtook the brand won just two weeks ago by Obama.


 


 At the launch of his personal account verifiedPOTUS last May 19, Obama reached a million followers in five hours, a feat that no one had managed before.


 


 “I am delighted that after so much struggle to live with myself. Welcome to the world, Caitlyn,” was the first message written by Jenner.


 


 The Twitter account of the launch coincided with the publication today in the magazine “Vanity Fair” of the first photos of Jenner after his change of identity and how transsexual.


 


 Jenner, 65, first spoke publicly after completing her gender transition in a report for the cover of the magazine’s July, and compared the two-day photo shoot, held by Annie Leibovitz, with the gold medal he won the proof decathlon at the 1976 Olympics.
