British singer Robert Plant, former lead singer of Led Zeppelin, will act on 07 July in the US Alive festival in Lisbon, the organization announced Monday.
According to the US Alive’16 festival, taking place 07-09 July at the promenade in Algés, Robert Plant will take the Stage NOS on the first day of the event.
Robert Plant issued 10 studio albums and worked with music prominent names like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller, Skip Spence, Phil Collins and Alison Krauss.
Throughout his career, he has also influenced artists such as Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, Axl Rose, Jeff Buckley and Jack White.
In 2008 the American magazine Rolling Stone placed Robert Plant in 15th on the list of 100 best vocalists of all time and in 2011 the readers of the same magazine considered it as the best singer in history .
In 2009, it was awarded in five categories at the 51st Gala Grammy for album “Raising Sand” made in collaboration with Alison Krauss.
The festival In Alive’16 announced today the presence of Paus bands, Courtney Barnett, Father John Misty, Foals, Hot Chip, John Grant, José González, M83, Pixies, Radiohead, Tame Impala, The 1975 The Chemical Brothers, Alice Wolf and Years & amp; Years.
