Teachers believe that Government will review restrictions imposed in contests – Digital Journal

 The National Federation of Education (FNE) believes that the Ministry of Education (ME) will withdraw the proposal diploma teachers contests the ban on teachers compete more than two groups of recruitment.

The Ministry of Education will replace the School of Hiring Exchange (ECB) for Recruitment Reserve, a contest that is based on a national graduation list professional, and that will apply in all schools.

According to a proposal to amend the law that frames the competitions of teachers, the Lusa had access, schools with autonomy agreement, and considered the Educational Territories of Priority Intervention (TEIP) – the only ones who could hire teachers using the ECB – shall be free to define selection criteria for teachers who need to hire, and will now be obliged, like all other schools the country, to hire based on a national professional degree list.

According to the proposal, all teachers are now placed at the beginning of the year with a single national list of professional degree, and any needs that are not met at the first appointment, which usually takes place in early September, are available for placement contest called Recruitment Reserve.

According to the amendments proposed by the Government, are removed from the degree of contests the rules on Skills and Knowledge Assessment Test (PACC) teachers and those relating to the retraining scheme which the tutelage suspended.
