PJ Harvey: Singer wants to make the new album an artistic installation – The Ball

After ‘Let England Shake’, singer-songwriter English, PJ Harvey, wants to bring another side to his work record and has no compunction about exposing their music to fans.

According to British media, PJ Harvey will record his ninth disc at Somerset House in London, from 16 January to over four weeks. Here, a studio was installed whose walls will allow fans of the artist feel and listen to your music up close. Interested parties may even give suggestions, if they so wish. However, the musicians will not see the spectators.

“I want the [project] Recording in Progress act as if we were in an exhibition in an art gallery. I hope that visitors can feel the energy and the flow of the creative process, “said the singer PJ Harvey. The site of Somerset House even speaks of ‘sound sculpture’.
