In the next few days, the levels of glucose in around the arena of Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, will soar. The phenomenon has explanation is simple: from this Thursday, day 9, and up to Sunday, day 12, the venue is invaded by chocolate in all its shapes and sizes. This is the fourth edition d' The Chocolate in Lisbon, an event organized by the Cocoa Club of Portugal. The numbers, by itself, open the appetite:
80 exhibitors, between brands and producers, some of them coming from stops very far: Peru, Venezuela, Vietnam, yemen, Madagascar, or Brazil.
Between Thursday and Sunday will take place 27 sessions of the so-called choco cooking in that participaração some of the best pastry chefs working in Portugal. And not only. Highlight to Américo dos Santos, the Belcanto, (Sunday at 12: 15), Fabian Nguyen, the Ritz (Friday at 13h45) or up to the master baker, Mario Rolling (Friday at 16.45), which will teach you to make pasta lêvedas with cocoa.
in addition, visitors will be able to see in action four machines, Bean to Bar, that transform cocoa beans into chocolate bars or partake in the many workshops (paid) on Saturday, September 11. The themes could not be more different: the harmonization between wine and chocolates (18h), with the critic Fernando Melo, the exfoliation with chocolate (13: 30). The festival runs between 10: 30 and 21: 30. The tickets are priced at € 2 for children 6 to 11 years and 4€ for the general public. Children 5 years of age or less do not pay. But they can eat.
