Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince, of the Kills, will perform on the Promenade of Oeiras on July 7, the same in which they shall come up to the stage the Foo Fighters Dave Grohl.
The band Wow appeared in 2003 in full blast media of rock’n’roll, when it was announced the nth return of the genre, rooted in the prominence achieved by The Strokes or the White Stripes. The first album, Keep Up Your Mean Side, showed a rock raw and direct that it lived of the sensual tension created between the vocalist and guitarist. However, unlike so many others born in the same period, the The Kills not only survived as if you were confirming, album after album, as a band, able to transform itself without losing this faúlha creative home. Along the way, became of band worship in a name signed on the rock scene of the last decade.
The Kills were in the Coliseu dos Recreios to present the fifth original album, the Ash & Ice, published this year. This album should be the basis of the covenant in the In Alive, not forgetting of course passages by other moments of their discography.
The Us Alive is done between 6 and 8 July at the Promenade of Oeiras, and has already confirmed the poster, in addition to The Kills, Depeche Mode and the aforementioned Foo Fighters.
