In the luggage Joe Newman, Thom Green and Gus Unger-Hamilton have "An Awesome Wave" (2012) and "This Is All Yours" (2014), two albums that catapulted the band to the level of one of the most acclaimed bands in alternative rock of the last few years.
In 2012, the group was winner of the British Mercury Prize, was nominated for three Brit Awards, and was even the choice of album of the year by BBC Radio 6. The debut album "An Awesome Wave" has continued to add awards and in 2013 was winner of the "Album of the year" at the gala Australian "Ivor Novello Awards". Already the second long-term relied in 2015 with a nomination for a Grammy Award in the category "Best Alternative Music Album".
10.Th edition of US Alive was marked as the most successful ever, having exhausted the three-day event, with a total of 165,000 spectators, made unique in the panorama of festivals of this scale in Portugal.
THE US Alive returns to the Promenade in Algés in the days 06, 07 and 08 July 2017.
