The announcer Álvaro Costa is hospitalized at the Hospital de Santo António, in Porto, after having suffered a TIA (a transient ischemic attack, also known as mini-STROKE) advances to the national press.
The radio host and television host was admitted to hospital with a partial paralysis on the left side of the body.
A TIA occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted for a short space of time.
