Disney announced a remake between their next releases. This time, the story of the warrior chinese Mulan will win a live action version that hits theaters on November 2nd, 2018.

Mulan tells the story of a young chinese girl who, to save his father from the war, infiltrates in the army and becomes one of the greatest heroines of the country. The original movie was released in 1998 and raised about$ 304 million at the box office. The version with real actors of the animation will be written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, the duo responsible for the screenplays of Planet of the apes: the origin (2011) and Jurassic world (2015).

Mulan joins the list of Disney classics that have won a new version with real actors. The studio has already released the Cinderella (2015), Maleficent (2014) and the jungle book: the boy in the wolf (2016) in these molds. In the last week, Disney announced that The lion king will also win a remake, which still has no release date. Despite the announcement, the cast of Mulan was not defined yet.
