Obidos enters the circus
Obidos back to embody the Christmas spirit recreating its now traditional Christmas Village. This year’s inspiration is the circus. Until January 3, the color and the magic of time are brought about by comedy shows and circus arts and the activities designed for the whole family, as fair game, “ateliers” Children of juggling and balancing, or the fun of the attractions on ice, carousel, train or canopy rails. “Sleeping Beauty”
The National Company Ballet (CNB) has one of the classical dance, composed by Piotr Tchaikovsky. The play is based on an eighteenth-century tale, written by the French Charles Perrault, about a young princess who falls into a deep sleep after pricking a spindle, a curse of an old fairy will only be undone with an enchanted prince. Accompanied by the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of maestro Pedro Carneiro, the CNB revisits this story on stage at the São Carlos National Theatre in Lisbon, from Thursday to Saturday at 21h, and Sunday at 16h until day 20. ticket prices vary between 15 € and 35 €.
