“Black Messiah” D’Angelo – Digital Journal

After fifteen years of not deliberate myth built on an immortal album, D’Angelo returns to life without the genius that made the initial D of God.

Maybe “Black Messiah” is still too fresh to be enjoyed to the full. Perhaps we are still to be agreed with the Christmas gift in hands.

Saved the necessary differences, surprise guarded by D’Angelo for the final year is 2014 as ‘Beyoncé’ for 2013. The two were launched rockets as an illusory show with transmission on the Internet but, in both cases, is more smoke than fire.

“Black Messiah” seemed impossible, the more messianic. Among the masterpiece ‘Voodoo’ and the highly anticipated return, turned away from the public arena, was arrested, addicted to alcohol and drugs, admitted to rehabilitation clinics, and footer, recorded with Snoop Dogg, J Dilla and Q -Tip small stakes that did not kill hunger.

“Black Messiah” sounds committed collection of sides B. What it lacks in inspiration left running. The competence of musicians like Pino Palladino, ‘uestlove and Q-Tip as a lyricist is untouchable but where are the love songs to have sex?

“Black Messiah’ was to be able to abstract to us all side issues to the music centered headlines of the last fourteen years, but only makes us rewind the tape to good and bad past.

There was a reason these songs if they delayed much. The myth won the reality and God Angelo descended the divine level the chamber of ordinary mortals.
