When is 03.00 in the early hours of Monday morning, begins the end of the series, written and starred by Lena Dunham. The goal has been set for a little over a year when it celebrated 30 life, Lena Dunham wanted to say goodbye to Girls. The series he created, wrote and stars in since 2012 would not exceed the half a dozen seasons. And so shall it be. The premiere of the sixth season, in the early hours of Monday in the world – in Portugal, in the TVSéries at 03.00 – is saying goodbye to the story of a group of girls freshly entering adulthood. But it will be a goodbye on the small screen with the promise of a return to the large. “I just want to pass enough time [between the end of this series and the release of the film] for them to return at a different time,” explained Dunham. “If HBO paid for two films Sex and the City, I hope that you also pay for this.”
