Gravitational waves defended by Einstein detected for the first time – This Thursday, February 11, will be marked in the history of science. Physicists announced they were detected for the first time, the gravitational waves that Einstein defend a century ago in the famous theory of relativity.
The announcement was made by the LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory), who claims to have registered a signal corresponding to gravitational waves.
These waves, defended by Einstein in 1916, were issued by the collision of two black holes, with 36 times the mass of the Sun, the other with 29.
