After four years at Meco, the promoter (Sound of Music) gave up the sand and brought the festival back to the city. We do not know if anyone still misses the flute Cabeço Estate, but no one will doubt that the Portuguese sidewalk is much easier to tread.
The organization learned from the first experience and this year , expanded and reorganized the space. Also, it keeps good sense. The maximum capacity remains fixed at 20,000 people per day, for the sake of security and circulation in the room. The SBSR is even to improve the ingredients to become the most balanced of the great Portuguese festivals – the location, access, logistics and poster.
This year SBSR continues to have four stages. The main thing is the MEO Arena (Palco Super Bock), the space that determines the maximum capacity of the event.
