Dances to challenge
The Wanderings is back in Dam Varzim and skeins, in Castelo de Vide, to offer dance lovers many opportunities to try new rhythms and steps. The seven-day festival are filled with dozens of activities for all ages, including concerts, dances, workshops, theater, circus and dance performances. The idea is that each set your route. Options abound. “Challenge” is the theme of this edition. The daily ticket costs 25 €; passes vary between 42 € and 112 €. More information on www.andancas.net.
The miniature port until the end of August
Feeling a giant at the foot of the Tower of Clerics , from the Oporto or the ratio of the chain is not an impossible experience. In fact, it is within reach of all that, from today until the end of the month of August to pass through Fort St. John the Baptist, in Foz do Douro, and see the exhibition “Port Miniature”. Here you can stroll among 30 models of Agostinho Conceição Gonçalves Teixeira authored, reproducing monuments and characteristic buildings of the city, from churches to kiosks. To see there is still a collective exhibition of the old Port photographs. Admission is free and the space can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 14h to 17h, and on Saturdays and Sundays until 18h.
