Scarlett Johansson joined with This Haim to form the band The Singles. Dave of TV On The Radio will be the producer of the first single.
The first issue of The Singles is entitled “Candy” and can now be heard through Soundcloud. This is a song that mixes sounds synth pop and dance:
The newly created group account yet with other voices as Holly Miranda, Kendra Morris . and Julia Haltigan
The actress told the press group motivation: “The idea was to create a super pop and dance music written and performed by women.” Johanson indicated bands like The Bangles and The Go Go’s as references and inspiration in the composition of this first single.
Scarlett Johansson is however not a newcomer to the world of music. In 2008 the actress has launched her first album, entitled ‘Anywhere I Lay My Head’.
